• According to Hindu practice, on the day of Vaishakha Amavasya, you wake up before sunrise and perform morning showers, putting aside every task at home.
• Following this, carefully carry out prayers and offer water to the Sun god.
• To get blessings from past generations, offer specific prayers for them on Vaishakha Amavasya. To get the virtuous benefits of Vaishakha Amavasya, visit sacred rivers, like the Ganges, and perform bathing and charity.
• Additionally, singing mantras of respected gods is recommended. On Vaishakha Amavasya, it is important to carry out Tarpan (offering) and Shraadha (ancestor rituals), fast, and then properly feed the Brahmins.
• On this day, it is also common to worship the Peepal tree and Lord Hanuman.
